Here’s a little from when the boys were little, more when they were rescued. 

Arthur got his tail in the blade on the boats motor, which is why he had the scar, and here the wound :I 

I  hope this makes up for the other OTL 

In case you can’t tell… Alfred is nomming on Matthew’s tail and Matthew is lying on Alfred because Alfred’s tail pushed his sponge. 

Oh and have a random headcanon too! 

The boys sleep best when they’re in the presence of each other. This is because they were separated from their parents as kids and only had each other and when Alfred got caught in the fishnet they got separated from for the first time. But luckily that led Arthur and Francis to them. 

When they’re apart for too long both begin to worry about the other.

I’m totally crazy with Mertalia right now! They just seem to fill me with happy feelings right now! 

I haven’t drawn this much in ages!

For the observent people, yes, that is a scar on Arthur’s tail! 
In my idea Arthur saved Alfred and Matthew when they were very little from a fisherman which is also why he’s so worried about them all the time!
